  2. my parents have always been active, social, life of the party..I think at 65 they’d be in Mesa Arizona right now, mom singing and playing in her band or jamming somewhere, dad renovating their home down their or both would be flying to Maui for a week, dad going to watch spring training, planning for his baseball diamond here…..i for some reason keep remembering my grandparents..they’s all immigrated here from Ukraine, in their 60s they all seemed confused a lot, in the city after a lifetime out in the country working their farms…thinking about this I wish I’d talked to them more..one set came through Ellis Island, the other through Halifax here in Canada…one set, my grandpa first had to sneak out via Russia, travel here by boat, work and save, send money back to his wife with someone he trusted, so she could follow…they traveled across Canada here to homestead….it’s a story I wish I knew more about
