Tell us about your favorite pair of shoes, and where they’ve taken you.
I love shoes. Usually I do. Lately I haven’t thought much about them other than if I’ll be walking a long way, or how easy are they to put on. I love my Sorrel running shoes because I can walk for hours in them and they are quick on and off. They are cute enough comfortable.
OMG!!!! Have you got 3 hours? I find it surprising that at and a fantastic memoryone point I wore something/anything other than running shoes (I will never ever call them sneakers, maybe trainers but never sneakers) but yeah, I could write books…I do sell them……but every run, every race, but even just for everyday…..weird thing too, I buy stuff to tick people…every year in time for PRIDE, Brooks will put out a shoe with that theme, I’m pretty sure I’m first in line for mine..not gay, but love PRIDE events, and good and awful comments, especially the awful comments I get because of those shoes, and my response is so worth it…I have had pink hair for the run for the cure and other events like that too..that’s always fun……but shoes, Warren, stick to shoes!……My 2nd Ironman were in a pair of K-Swiss, very minimal, but got me through that 26.2 miles to finish that race off….with two huge blisters, and yeah not fun, but they got me through to that finish line, and they got me to hear those words, Warren Footz you are an Ironman…the being uncomfortable in those shoes was so worth it….and I learned a lesson from those shoes (never wear them again) but well, I can do pretty much anything if I put my mind to it

I had a similar experience. In my first half marathon I wore leather athletic shoes( I think they were for basket ball). They were a little big so I wore two pairs of socks. I ended up with blisters on top of blisters. Both feet. When I was in line for my tshirt someone commented that my shoes were not running shoes and my socks were not running socks. I learned a lot that day, but what I really found out was that I could handle and push through some major discomfort. That lesson helped me in full length marathons. Proper shoes and socks helped too
