Getting health back

I’ve been listening to a guy named Gary Brecka.

Sometimes any motivation is better than none at all. He has had some interesting life experiences.

I’m feeling off my usual routine. No regular yoga for most of the month is a definate void for me.

This interview caught my attention because Gary touched on a few subjects I got interested in years ago and then lost track of. Red or infrared light therapy and hydrogen water. Also circadian rhythm, earthing and first light. He also talked about breathing and vitamin D.

I like doing simple relatively easy things to give my body little health advantages. I’ve never been a fan of jolting myself into health. Even my long distance running was not competitive. I just ran to clear my head and level out my mood. I can’t see myself doing a cold water plunge, for example, though I do believe in the health benefits if you can get yourself to do it. I can’t see it for me. I’m too sensitive to cold and discomfort in general.

What can I say?! I do like his philosophy that if there is something wrong with the leaves of a plant, you should check the soil. He says most of what ails us is due to deficiencies that can easily be supplanted. If only it was that simple, but I do feel better with extra vitamin D and some magnesium and potassium. Biotin and b vitamins, some collagen…

So

I guess I’ll take the motivation. Try out some of his suggestions.

Why not, my mood could use the boost…
